Prestige skincare meets makeup! La Mer is partnering with makeup artists for the first time in the brand’s history. Although the exact details are still a mystery, this partnership is sure to bridge the iconic skincare brand with color cosmetics. So far, all we know is an extension of La Mer’s existing Reparative Skin Tint, an antioxidant and SPF 30 duo, is in the works for the brand!
Flower-infused lipsticks are taking over the internet.
Created by Chinese beauty brand Kailijumei, this lipstick has been taking over the beauty world. It’s infused with jelly, gold flakes, has a dainty flower in the center, and reveals a natural, but glossy tint when applied. The coolest part? Pucker up! Charlotte Tilbury has officially launched the Hot Lips collection. The inspiration behind the stunning collection stemmed from the beauty maven’s clientele of icons such as Kate Moss, Kim Kardashian West, Victoria Beckham, Sienna Miller, and many more. During the first two months the Hot Lips collection is on the shelves, two dollars from the sale of each $38 lipstick will be donated to Women for Women International, so snatch up your favorite shade fast!
A Kylie Cosmetics store is in the works.
We can always count on Kylie Jenner to take big news to Snapchat. And, that’s exactly what she did just before the weekend. In a Snapchat post, she said, “Looking for Kylie Cosmetics stores right now.” In her second Snap, she said, “Makeup stores about to be lit!” Cue excitement! The location of the store is yet to be announced, but we’re guessing it’s most likely Los Angeles. But, who knows! Jenner is always full of surprises.
Violet Voss Collaborates with YouTube Personality Laura Lee.
YouTube vlogger Laura Lee has created her very own eyeshadow palette with Violet Voss called The Laura Lee Eyeshadow Palette. Pulling inspiration from her southern roots, Lee created swatch names dedicated to charms of the South. Who wouldn’t crack a smile while applying colors like “Sugah” and “Priss Pot?” The palette retails for $45 on the Violet Voss website.
