Lately, buzz in the beauty world has been almost wholly devoted to innovations coming out of Korea and other fast-paced Asian beauty markets. But, French brands are quietly and quickly arriving in stores across the US and they’re worth getting excited about.
The French approach to skincare is what we like to call the Little Black Dress approach. It’s unfussy, reliable, and it always works. French women know that makeup always comes second to incredible skin and for years they’ve kept their beauty secrets relatively quiet. But now, French skincare brands are making the journey over the Atlantic with lightning speed. Brands formerly available only to the lucky few who can traverse the ocean and pop into a French pharmacy to stock up are now appearing at places like Target and Walgreens. We love that French brands were more likely to use botanical and gentle ingredients before the rest of world hopped on the “natural” train and they pack a lot of effective punch into their products.
These are five French brands you should get your hands on tout suite!
Nuxe founder, Aliza Jabès, had a unique vision to combine luxury with nature (hence the name Nuxe). Her products bring together potent plant-based ingredients, chic packaging, and addicting scents.
